Second Week Update!!

Well, it's hard to believe we've been home with Annabelle for just over 2 weeks already!! It seems like she's always been apart of our lives now! We really love it. She is soooooo much fun!

We're all alot more comfortable now, and are taking her out to more places. Wednesday we went out to a few of the local nurseries and bought some flowers for Daddy to plant...Annabelle enjoyed looking at all the flowers! Thursday was bloodwork (BAD! but she slept alot afterwards!!)

Friday - Assi Market and Korean Cooking at Home!!

Friday we took a drive up to the Assi Market - big international grocery store with a good food court and some shops. We had lunch there (we've been craving some Korean food since we've been back), and we picked up a grill, rice cooker, and stone bowls so we can do some more cooking here at home. Annabelle slept in the car, but enjoyed looking at everything in the store. Eating at the food court was our first experience "eating out" with Annabelle - it went pretty well! (But we don't think we're quite ready yet for a "real" restaurant!!)

On Friday night (and again on Saturday) we used some of our new cookware to cook Dolsot Bibimbap (Hot Stone bowl with rice, marinated beef, spinach, carrots, bean sprouts, egg, and hot sauce all mixed up --- very good!!) We used to order this at a local restaurant; now we can eat it at home!

We've been pretty much been eating "in shifts", but we kind of miss eating together. Now we're getting good at trying the high chair for a little while, and then one of us holding her 'til we finish!

Saturday - Relay for Life

On Saturday, we went up to the local Cancer Society Relay for Life. A number of teachers and students from Beth's middle school were up there, so we went up to pay a visit. We caught up with more of Beth's friends, and Annabelle met some more future play dates. We even went out for ice cream (sorry, none for you yet Annabelle!)
